Better 82-0 logo

Can you go 82-0?

Spin a team and a decade, draft a hooper into each of five spots, and find out how close your all-time lineup gets to a perfect season.

How to play

How To Play

Spin to reveal one team and one decade. Pick one player from that pool, then place him into an open eligible position on your lineup.

Build a full 5-man lineup: PG, SG, SF, PF, and C.

Each player can only be used once. If a player cannot fit any open position, they will be unavailable.

You can filter players by position, search by name, and sort the pool by public stats like PPG, APG, RPG, or Gravity.

What To Optimize For

Do not just chase scoring. Strong teams usually need a primary creator, enough scoring pressure, spacing and shooting gravity, solid defense across multiple positions, rim protection, rebounding, and a lineup that fits together without too many overlapping weaknesses.

High-scoring players help, but bad spacing, weak defense, poor rim protection, or awkward positional fit can lower your final result.

Rerolls

You get limited rerolls during a round:

  • Reroll team: keeps the decade, changes the team
  • Reroll decade: keeps the team, changes the decade

Use rerolls when the current pool has poor positional fit, no useful open-position players, or does not match what your lineup still needs.

Winning

After all five spots are filled, the game projects your team's record and grade.

Your goal is to build the best possible 82-game team, not just collect famous names. A balanced lineup with creation, spacing, defense, and fit will usually beat a lineup of mismatched stars.
